How do I place an order?

How do I know my order is processed/confirmed?

Once you place an order, a message will be sent to the email/phone number provided, acknowledging your order. Once your order is processed and ready to be dispatched another notification will be sent to your phone number or email.

 

What is ‘My Account’?

‘My Account’ is a tool used to view your transactions and track the status of your order on our site. In addition, you can manage/edit your personal data such as name, shipping and billing addresses, phone numbers, email address, payment info and more.

 

Do I need an account to shop?

No, it is not necessary to have an account with TheBeautyBoon.com. However, we advise that you set up an account with our easy account setup form for faster and easier checkout in the future.

 

How do I register or sign into “My account”

To register or sign into “My account” click sign in at the top right corner of the homepage. Proceed with your email address and password under the “My account” tab on the next page to sign in. Unregistered users can fill in the form under ‘Register’ on the next page to create a new account.

 

Once I put an item in my shopping cart, am I guaranteed the item?

No, the item is not guaranteed for purchase. It all depends on the availability of the product at your time of checkout.

 

I saw an item on the website previously, and now it is no longer there. Why?

This means that the item(s) is/are no longer available for purchase. Please call one of our customer care representatives to see how we can help in obtaining the item

 

What is a pre-order?

A pre-order allows you to reserve a product before it is available for shipment. Please call one of our customer care representatives to Pre-order

 

When a Product is ‘Out of stock’, is it possible to still order the product?

An ‘out of stock’ order can be ordered via phone only. The sales associate will disclose to the customer, the possibility of obtaining the product and how quickly it can be shipped.

What is the cut-off time for express delivery?

  • Cash on Delivery– Your order can be paid with cash upon delivery. Offered only in select areas within Lagos
  • TBB Card- A virtual e-card that you can deposit money into and shop at anytime

How do I track the status of my order(s)?

If you are a registered customer on our site, the status of your order can be checked online using the ‘My accounts’ tab on our website. Click on sign in on the top right corner of our home page, proceed to sign in by entering your email address and password, once you are signed in, click the “View” button next to “Web Order History”. Find your order number and click it; under the status column you can click the link to track the order.

What happens once my order has been placed?

Once your order has been placed, there is a chain of command that’s followed to ensure our customers get their order in a timely and efficient manner

  • Order received and Payment Pending authorization– This is when we have acknowledged your order and waiting for the payment gateway to authorize your payment
  • Payment Approved and Order processing– We have received your payment, thus we select the item(s) you ordered from our stock and package it
  •  Transport, handling and delivery– Your order has been dispatched and in transit to be delivered to your doorstep
  • Delivered– The item(s) has been delivered to the address on file

 

When and how can I cancel an order?

An order can be cancelled anytime before the shipment notification is sent to the customer during our transport and handling phase. As long as we have not shipped the product(s) to you, cancellation will be honored.

 

How do I return or exchange my order?

Our priority is the satisfaction and safety of our customers. Hence, beauty products such as hair care, skin care, cosmetics products are not eligible for exchange or return. However, unused tools and accessories can be returned within 7 days. Please view our Returns & Exchange policy for detailed information.

 

How do I search for items/products?

You may type a descriptive keyword in the “Search for products” box found at the top middle of the website or you can navigate the website to find the particular item using our site map.

 

Is gift packaging available?

Yes, for an additional charge most of our products may be gift packaged in our traditional gift box with an elegant silk bow.

 

How do I send a gift?

Our products can be gift boxed and include a personalized gift message for an additional charge. Please view our Gift Options during Checkout for more information.

 

How much are shipping/delivery charges?

In order to satisfy our customers, we offer free shipping/delivery in certain regions and competitive low shipping/delivery in other regions.

  • Free shipping in Lagos on orders of  ₦10,000 or more
  • Free shipping in Akure, Benin, Ibadan and Warri on orders of  ₦30,000 or more
  • Free shipping in Abuja and all other states In Nigeria on orders of  ₦50,000 or more

What is the estimated delivery time?

Lagos- Orders should be delivered the following day. For express service, orders placed before 12p.m can be delivered the same day at an additional charge of  1000.

Outside of Lagos- Orders should be delivered within 48 to 72 hours

International- Orders should be delivered within 4 to 7 business days

 

Does TheBeautyBoon.com deliver internationally?

Yes, we do. We deliver to most countries in the continent of Africa.
